Being a Portrait Photographer in East Sheen SW14

When did you start taking pictures?

I've loved photography ever since I can remember, and have shoe boxes of photos from years back in my loft. When I gave up work to have my own family I took the chance to retrain, and haven't looked back.

Why do you do what you do?

I think it's a people thing. I love working with all ages, getting the best out of them and creating beautiful, relaxed images that they will treasure and value for years. I also love that every day is different, every sitting has its own energy and you can never predict quite what is going to happen next, especially when I'm working with kids. And when I collaborate with businesses it's always so interesting to get an insight into other people's worlds.

How do your clients feel about working with you?

I hope I offer all that a professional photographer should, otherwise why not just use your iphone?  I offer a high level  of service, and oversee all aspects of the process from picking up the phone to delivering the final prints. It's important to me that all my clients are delighted. I attend training sessions regularly and have qualified as a licentiate member of the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers). I am CRB checked, fully insured, and use professional level equipment. I also back up and catalogue your images so that you can revisit them in years to come.

How would people describe you?

I have been told that I'm patient, good-humoured and enthusiastic.  Not necessarily all at the same time.

What makes you tick when you aren't taking pictures?

Walking in the park, music, dancing round the kitchen, friends and family, tennis, a good box-set on TV. And zumba.
